Ride Rules for Safety, Inclusion, and Minimal Confusion:

  1. Ride Your Own Ride: Your participation indicates that you understand and accept full responsibility for your own safety, well-being, passengers, and property. You also confirm that you carry insurance as required by Texas law and possess a valid motorcycle license.
  2. Use Your Bright Lights: Please ride with your high beams on, except for the rider immediately behind the leader. Carry emergency contact information.
  3. Gear Up for Safety: Follow ATGATT (All The Gear, All The Time)—this includes a helmet, jacket, riding pants (preferably armored), over-the-ankle boots, and gloves.
  4. Start with a Full Tank: Ensure your gas tank is full before departure. Plan to cover 125 miles between gas stops, and never pass up an opportunity to refuel when we stop.
  5. No Stunting: This is not a ride for stunts—no wheelies, stoppies, or reckless maneuvers of any kind.
  6. Breaking Off? Let Someone Know: If you decide to leave the group, please wave at someone so we know it was intentional.
  7. Watch Out for Fellow Riders: Keep an eye on the rider behind you. If you lose sight of them, turn around and check what happened. Let’s not leave anyone behind.
  8. Waiting at Turns: At any point where a turn signal is required, we will wait until the last rider (Sweep Rider) makes the turn before continuing.
  9. Check Your Tire Pressure: Before leaving home, check your cold tire pressure. If checking when warm, add 4 lbs. to compensate.

Looking forward to a fun and safe ride! See you Saturday.
