MOA GETAWAY TEXAS
Author Last Post
Well Snap. I'm going anyway. I was in a torrential down pour for our trip to South Dakota this year.
I don't want to speak for Steve and Tom, but I canceled my reservation at the YO as the weather sounded like it was going to be bad in Houston on Friday and all weekend Kerrville. I will be watching the forecast, however. I'm sure I can grab a room without a reservation if I head that way. Thanks, Cliff
I have to be at the club meeting Thursday evening so I will be leaving Friday morning. When exactly depends on the radar at the time. And I am departing from Cypress in the northwest, and taking slow back roads as much as time will allow. It might be we'll just see y'all at the YO Ranch. Sat and Sun should be glorious, if cool. Think about some rides out there...
I'll be heading out from Lake Jackson Friday Morning at some point. Going through Columbus and 71 up through Austin.
Steve Diana, Clifford Donald and Jerry Matson and me heading to the "MOA Getaway Texas". Do yall want to meet and ride out together?
David go to our event calendar. Page through each month to see what has been planned. But remember that some are not club sponsored like the MOA GETAWAY one, that registration is just an  identification to us that you’re making to that event. Club sponsored events will have if applicable a fee to be paid as you register for an event.
thanks Roger for the update but where is this event posted..
I just did the event calendar registration Jerry. That should work fine to establish a roster. Thanks for pointing that out.
Great idea to start a list. BTW here is the link to the "Getaway Texas":

https://www.bmwmoa.org/event/texas18

We can either post here in the forums or go to the club calendar and click on the Getaway event and register. That will collect everyone who registers and you can then see a list of names there.

Note that the event in our club calendar is only a placeholder on our calendar, so by registering there you are only indicating that you might go (or definitely will go). It doesn't communicate anything to the MOA. You have to go to their website and register and pay there.

Hey David, they are two different events.  The MOA on Kerrville is the second weekend and the Club ride weekend at Big Thicket is the first weekend in November.
I thought this MOA was scheduled for the 1st weekend in November which is the same time of the Galveston Bike Rally.

Who is going to the MOA Getaway in Kerrville in November 9th-11th?

Let’s get a list going.
